Reading Fun Camp

A.

Before school begins in the fall, volunteers provide the children a weeklong day camp with games, science and fun reading & writing activities. At the end of the week the children are provided a backpack full of school supplies thanks to our generous community partners.

Providing a new toy at Christmas time could be very difficult for many families to afford.

Each year the Pantry provides toys for children 0-12 years of age to our pre-registered families. The Christmas Toy Store is usually the first Sunday in December. Contact us for details.

Here again not at the Pantry, but we have information provided through
other organizations that may help you

If two people live together in the same residence, can both apply for food?

A.

No - Whether married or single, two people at the same residence are
considered one family

Are baby diapers and food available?

A.

Yes, but based on supply so be sure to ask for specific needs

Do you provide food delivery service?

A.

Yes, but only in cases where it is impossible for clients to travel to
our facility. Delivery is provided locally within a 5 mile radius. To arrange for delivery call (626) 852-7801.

Can special food type requests be made?

Yes - but fulfillment is based on availability

How much food is provided?

A.

Our standard package consists of one box and one grocery bag filled

with non-perishable foods, plus bread when available. We try to
provide enough supplemental food for 3-5 days

What is the cost for this service?

There is no monetary charge for any service we provide

How often can you receive food/clothing?

A.

All clients may receive food twice per month for a total of six months
(extended programs are available) and clothing once per month.

What are the qualifications for our service?

A.

Must be a resident in the local communities of Azusa, Baldwin Park, Claremont, Covina, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, La Verne,
San Dimas, & W. Covina

Bring proof of residence i.e. driver's license, utility bill, etc. on your first visit.
