Shepherd’s Pantry cordially invites you to attend its first annual “Breakfast of Champions To End Hunger” on Friday September 29, 2023 at the Glendora Country Club. We hope you will join us for this opportunity to bring together our community’s leaders, supporters and businesses to hear about the work Shepherd’s Pantry does and the ways you can help in our ongoing effort to meet the needs of those facing food insecurity and struggling to make ends meet.
Shepherd’s Pantry operates facilities in Glendora, Irwindale and La Puente (our former Baldwin Park location). Our clients include families struggling to put food on the table, senior citizens on fixed incomes, and individuals who have suffered job loss, illness or severely reduced income. The number of clients we serve has increased over the last few years and continues to rise. As of June, we have provided food to over 11,956 individuals and families in 2023 alone.
You can choose to partner with us and sponsor this event or you can simply attend as our guest for $25 and bring with you an open heart to hear why both Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio and the Irwindale Chamber of Commerce have each named Shepherd’s Pantry their Non- Profit of the Year.
The event will begin at 7 am with breakfast served at 7:30 am and the program to begin promptly at 8 am. Valet parking will be provided. We look forward to seeing you!
