Beginning August 3rd, Glenkirk Church, Glendora will provide showers, breakfast and a sack lunch to homeless individuals and families for the fall months. As a church, they recognize that the vast majority of those experiencing homelessness are stable individuals and families, struggling with circumstances beyond their control. In addition to providing refuge during the cold weather shelter program, they have added this service to assist their neighbors in need. Shepherd’s Pantry has been chosen as the site to provide the shower vouchers from July through mid-November. “We’re happy to see churches step up and partner with our homeless community, helping provide for their basic needs”, states Craig Cerro, Executive Director.
